Starting a career in medicine takes dedication, passion, and constant learning. Society of Turkish American Physicians recognizes the challenges and goals that medical professionals face throughout their careers. To support them, we have launched various webinar series designed to help physicians at every stage of their professional journey.
This series reflects our ongoing commitment to support and guide medical professionals through practical, engaging, and informative sessions tailored to different points in their careers.
Our past webinars have covered a wide range of topics. Highlights include “Boarding to Residency,” which provided guidance on CV building, interview preparation, and residency program selection; the “Internal Medicine Onboarding Meeting,” focused on clinical readiness and communication skills for new interns; and the “ERAS Application Webinar” for Match 2024 and Match 2025, which walked applicants through key steps in the residency application process. We’ve also hosted skill-focused sessions, such as how to prepare impactful graphical abstracts, tips for optimizing your ERAS CV, and an introduction to Python for physicians interested in technical and research tools.
As we move forward, we will continue to expand this series with new topics tailored to the needs of students, residents, and practicing physicians alike—offering a platform for ongoing education, collaboration, and professional growth.
