Dr. Costa, a native of Eskişehir, Türkiye, graduated from Ankara University School of Medicine. Her academic journey includes categorical internal medicine residency and chief residency at Hacettepe University, where she conducted research on metabolic attributes in women with androgen excess. She received institutional and international grants, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical knowledge. Currently a clinical research fellow in NIH T32 Diabetes and Metabolism Postdoctoral Training Program at Mayo Clinic, her focus is on obesity, fat metabolism, and exercise physiology. With humility and dedication, she aspires to contribute to the field of Diabetes and Metabolism as a physician-scientist.
